Welding curtains are used for protection during welding applications. These curtains are produced in standard dimensions or are custom made depending on customer needs. Manufactured from a conventional or treated fiberglass fabric.

To facilitate their installation or assemby each curtain may be fitted with grommets or snaps and a reinforced border which can be made form a variety of cloths, dependant on the exposure temperature.

These curtains are used as welding screens to protect against welding sparks.

Tadpole tape gaskets are composed of a bulb and a flange. Tadpole tapes are used to seal oven, furnace and boiler doors. They can also be used to control dust in the environment, prevent leaks, and seal between uneven surfaces.

There are multiple combinations of the bulbs and flanges. The bulbs can have an inner core of fiberglass rope, ceramic rope, a stainless steel mesh or inconel mesh. The textile covering can be made from a vareity of fabrics. Since the tadpole tape can be made from a variety of materials the temperature resistances will vary. 

Our fiberglass folded tape is manufactured from texturized fiberglass fabrics. This is a high functional tape for use in steam, air, water and ammonia. It is useful on rough or uneven flanges.

Yarn and cordage offered by SGI have excellent resistance to thermal shock, as well as minimal shrinkage at service temperature. They provide reliable insulation and protection while retaining their original textile characteristics.

Cordage and Yarn can be braided into or around thermcouple wires, instrument elements, electrical cables, electrical cable harnesses and hoses.
