PTFE packing is a braided packing made of pure PTFE yarn fiber. This packing rope is known as one of the best available in the industrial field.

Braided from pure expanded flexible graphite yarn. This is the standard style for flexible graphite packing. SGI also offers packings that can be impregnated with a proprietary blocking agent or with a high temperature lubricatant.

Braided carbon filament with graphite lubrication for valves or pumps in high temperature, high pressure or high speed chemical applications. Low friction coefficients are standard for less shaft wear and lower maintenance or replacement costs. This packing is a general service pump and valve packing for use with solvents, petrochemicals, mild acids, and alkalis.

This braided compression packing is made from 100% GFO fiber. It offers consistant high performance in a wide range of applications, including shafts on high-speed pumps, mixers and agitators. GFO fiber packing has minimal thermal expansion and high abrasion resistance. GFO packing withstands higher temperatures in steam (1200ºF)

This compression packing features GFO yarn braided with Kevlar corners. It combines attributes of both materials to produce a pump packing with abrasion and extrusion resistance. 

This is a high temperature non-asbestos valve stem and expansion joint packing for moderate services. This packing features a inconel inserted heat stabilized fiberglass yarn is braided over a flexible plasticised core. Corrosion inhibitors are added with a high temperature graphite finish. It is often used in high temperature steam, gases and hydrocarbons. 

Flax compression packing features high quality flax and ramie fibers that are impregnated with tallow and wax lubricants. It is often used for cold water, brine and marine services such as stern tubes and rubber posts.

Aramid fiber gaskets have a broad range of applications in the process, water and wastewater industries. It is very pliable and cuts cleanly. It is ideal for use in compressors, carburetors and other equipment requiring gaskets with close dimensional tolerances.

Packing Hooks can be used for pulling or removing packing

Die formed rings greatly increase the shalft sleeve life where they are used because the mechanical pressure is exerted over a larger area.  Die Formed Rings are available in almost every style of braided packing that SGI produces.
