Expanded PTFE Joint Sealant is a soft compressible gasket material made of 100% pure expanded PTFE. This gasket conforms to almost any sealing surface. Upon compression it fills in the surface irregularities and creates an extremely tight seal.

It is capable of withstanding a wider range of pressures, temperatures and chemical environments than any other soft gasket. This joint sealant can be used in just about any accessible bolted joint that features a flat or serrated sealing surface. It is easy to install and remove, making it highly versatile and cost-effective.

Teflon tape is cut into specified widths for use in sealing pipe threads. The tape is wrapped around the exposed threads of a pipe before it is screwed into place. This tape is commonly used commercially in pressurized water systems, heating systems, air compression equipment and thread joints with coarse threads. This tape is used on tapered pipe threads and allows the threads to be screwed together more easily to create the seal.

Silicone-based adhesives and sealants last longer and are more versatile than most other organic polymer adhesives. They provide excellent bond strength to glass, wood, silicone resin, vulcanized silicone rubber, natural and synthetic fiber, painted surfaces and a variety of plastics and metal.
