Fiberglass ropes are intended for high-temperature applications up to 1000ºF. The rope consists of a fiberglass yarn core with a fiberglass braided jacket to form an exact diameter for controlled compression seals. Larger diameters have a "braid-over-braid" jacket for durability and precise gasket dimensions.
Ropes are avilable in many sizes to fit customer needs. Fiberglass rope is manufactured in both dense and soft. It can be round or square depending on the customer's need.
Applications Include:
- pipe wraps
- boilers
- furnaces
- ovens
- gas fireplaces
- wood/gas stoves
- thermal insulation
- glass manufacturing
- flange gasketing
- fireproof safe applications
Fiberglass tape provides flexibility for easy installation around corners. These tapes feature high compressibility and resilience in order to create an excellent, long-lasting seal.
It is the best choice for new or alternative gasketing for pipe wraps, boilers, furnaces, ovens, gas fireplaces, wood/gas stoves and fireproof safe applications.
Coating Features include:
- Graphite Coating
- Vermiculite Coating
- Pressure-sensitive adhesive
High temperature and heat resistant fiberglass tapes are often used on hot process equipment components. It is often used to line doors or access panels for ovens, furnaces, kilns or stoves (wood stove or pellet stove)
The bolt-hole tape is easily installed. As a gasket, bolt-hole tapes are typically used to seal material on access doors for ovens, furnaces and kilns, where a seal is desired on both sides of the securing fasteners such as a bolt line.
Designed and manufactured to meet a wide range of demanding high-temperature wrap, blanket, curtain and shielding applications.
Specialty Gaskets Inc. fiberglass cloth provides added value with its inherent durability, flexibility and the secure confidence gained by proven in-use experience.
Fiberglass cloth is available plain or coated to meet exact requirements. Cloth comes in a variety of widths and thicknesses.
Fiberglass cloth is the best choice for pipe lagging, flange and valve covers, expansion joints, heat sheild and insulation pads. Commercial grades are available for welding drop cloths and heat treated/stress relief insulation. Also available in common and custom sizes for welding and furnace curtains, emergency fire and rescue blankets or fire smothering blankets.
Features Include:
- dependable continuous service protection up to 1000ºF
- strong and durable
- low irritation factor
- resists abrasion
- resists most acids and alkalis
- not affected by solvents or bleaches
Tacky cloth is high temperature resistant. It provides an excellent seal against steam, water and gas. This fabric is a fiberglass base with a special white rubber formulation coating.
Aluminized Cloth is designed to reflect thermal radiation. It can be sized depending on customer needs.
It is often used for removable blankets, pipe wrapping, turbine blankets, fittings, flange covers and engine exhaust pipes.
Woven fiberglass cloth with wire inserted through out it allows for added tensile strength. Applications for this fabric include being used as a hot-side insulation fabric, flange and valve covers, weld curtains or stress relief blankets.
Features Include:
- resistance to chemicals
- good heat and flame protection
Fiberglass cloth coated with graphite is an abrasion free product used for expansion joints and dust resistance.
Adhesive backed fiberglass textiles feature fiberglass products combined with an adhesive system that allows for easy installation of the gaskets in various product applications
